Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lubek Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamari Caram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lubek Boyko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamari Caram!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caram moves into the clinch.
Boyko misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Caram.
Boyko misses with a body punch.
Boyko manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Boyko throws a punch but it's blocked by Caram.
Caram lands with a light punch inside.
Caram has Boyko pushed against the cage.
Boyko swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyko swings wildly with an uppercut but Caram uses good head movement to avoid it.

Caram throws a knee to the head but misses.
Boyko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Caram backwards.

Caram blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Boyko lands with a short shot to the head.
Caram misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Caram tries to land a knee to the head but Boyko blocks with his arms.
Caram scores with a shot to the side of Boyko's head.
Boyko is looking to control Caram's arms but Caram gets an underhook and turns him. Now Boyko has his back to the cage.
Boyko throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Caram manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Boyko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Caram gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Boyko is pushing Caram up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Caram tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Boyko avoids it.

Boyko has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Caram regains guard immediately.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boyko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Caram looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Boyko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Caram really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boyko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Caram has his hands on Boyko's head, controlling the position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Caram controls Boyko momentarily but Boyko frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Caram misses with a head kick.

Boyko looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Caram is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boyko controlling the action here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Caram can do anything to dispel that myth.
Caram is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Boyko scores with a couple of nice shots.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Boyko is working for a submission of some sort.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lubek Boyko dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Caram cracks Boyko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Caram connects with a good right hand that stumbles Boyko. Boyko circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Caram looks to land a combination. Boyko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Boyko seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Caram avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boyko tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Caram counters with a head kick.
Boyko connects with a jab.
Caram misses with a head kick.
Caram throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boyko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Caram has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boyko gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Caram cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Caram dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Boyko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Caram closes the distance and pushes Boyko back into the cage.

Caram is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Jamari Caram seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Caram misses with a short punch on the inside.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Boyko creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Boyko has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Caram is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Caram is struggling to control the position.
Caram trying to stall but Boyko improves his position.

Caram lands a hook that snaps the head of Boyko backwards.
Caram throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Caram has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice left hand lands by Caram.

Jamari Caram showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Boyko avoids the head kick by Caram.

Caram rushes Boyko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Boyko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Caram lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Boyko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Caram gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Caram tries to land knees in the clinch but Boyko avoids the damage to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Caram just misses with a elbow thrown towards Boyko's brow.
Caram with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caram connects with a nasty looking knee right to Boyko's face.


Boyko is rocked!
Caram unloads a knee to the mid-section.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Caram.
Oh Boyko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boyko's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Caram lands a right hand that snaps the head of Boyko backwards.

Caram creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Boyko! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Caram.

An out of breath Jamari Caram thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
