The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to bum rush Rousseau with a series of wild strikes but Rousseau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Rousseau shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rousseau prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet.
Rousseau wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rousseau stops Jackson from standing up.
Rousseau tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jackson Rushes Rousseau and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Rousseau is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Jackson Piles on the pressure and Rousseau crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
