Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Troy Malo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Troy Malo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ron Simmons's chin.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons throws a low kick, looking for Malo's leg but Malo calmly moves out of range.
Simmons finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Malo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Troy Malo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malo scores with a kick to the midsection.
Simmons goes for a double leg but Malo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Malo continues to drive forward.
Malo throws a right and a left that Simmons avoids nicely.
Malo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Malo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Simmons's sensitive parts.

Malo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simmons swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Simmons looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's time! Malo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Simmons decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Malo's guard.

Simmons escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Malo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
