Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spitta Andretti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spitta Andretti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jordan Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belfort feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Belfort drops back looking for a leg! Andretti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Andretti manages to kick Belfort off! Belfort jumps back into Andretti's guard.

Belfort is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Belfort stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Andretti swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Andretti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Andretti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Andretti tries to get out of the position.
Belfort wants to control from the top but Andretti keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Belfort drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Belfort jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Belfort drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Belfort jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Belfort drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Andretti manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Belfort has Andretti in his guard.

Andretti is looking to stand up but Belfort won't let him.

Andretti avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Belfort working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Andretti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Andretti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Andretti got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belfort has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Andretti has managed to get both his arms back between Belfort's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Belfort gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Andretti to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Belfort has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Andretti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Belfort wants to stand and escape but Andretti is having none of it.
Belfort has momentary wrist control but Andretti slips an elbow through the middle.
Andretti wants to get up but he can't break Belfort's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Belfort had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Andretti defends it easily.
Belfort is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Andretti is trying to get back to full guard.

Belfort is looking for a kimura but Andretti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Belfort to get the leverage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Belfort is trying for a kimura here. Andretti looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Belfort wins by kimura!
