Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Amos Miguel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boro Miranovic!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miguel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Miranovic is looking for a sweep.

Miguel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Miranovic tries to improve position but can't.

Miguel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miranovic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Miranovic gets back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miguel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miranovic is just riding it out for now. Miguel eventually gives up the hold.
Miranovic is trying to get back to full guard.

Miguel wants to take a breather but Miranovic is having none of it.
Miguel is stalling here. Miranovic is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Miguel seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Miranovic has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Miranovic cracks Miguel with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Miranovic throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Miranovic postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Miguel tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miranovic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Miranovic with the ground and pound but Miguel regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Miranovic is looking to advance position but Miguel won't allow it.
Miguel is trying to get back to full guard.
Miranovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miguel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Miguel is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miranovic scores with a couple of nice shots.
Miranovic is nestled in close to Miguel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Miguel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miranovic's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miranovic's back!

Miguel is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Miranovic is defending well though. Miguel let's go of the attempt for now.

Miranovic tries to escape but Miguel has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Miguel goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Miranovic escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Miguel is trying to maintain the position but Miranovic is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Amos Miguel will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Miranovic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miguel avoids it really well and circles away.
Miguel looks to land a right hand but Miranovic moved out of range.
Miguel throws a hook but Miranovic avoids it easily.
Miguel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miranovic but Miranovic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Miguel throws a left and a right that both miss

and Miranovic counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Miguel!


Miguel is rocked!
Miranovic sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Miguel! Oh, Miguel is in big trouble! Miranovic lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Boro Miranovic!
Boro Miranovic was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
