Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Trager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Queen comes to the cage accompanied by Fat Joe - Money Over Bitches [Feat Too $hort & TA]. Trager is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bang Bang. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Trager!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trager drives through with a takedown into guard.

Queen wants to stand and escape but Trager is having none of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trager accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Trager shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Trager uses his free foot to push down on Queen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Queen.

Trager has control of Queen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Queen regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Poor strikes thrown by Trager there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Trager changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Queen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Trager connects with a nice short shot to Queen's temple.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Oliver Queen.
I think Trager has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
