Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaska Manninen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manninen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Garner shoots in but no luck this time.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garner.

Manninen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Garner's guard.
Garner working a defensive guard but Manninen manages to pass into side control anyway.

Manninen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Garner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Garner is trying to control Manninen's posture but Manninen avoids it.

Garner takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Manninen has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Garner!

Garner takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Manninen is working for a guillotine from mount but Garner frees his head quite easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manninen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Manninen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Garner's face.

Manninen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Garner really wants to buck Manninen off and get back to his feet.
Manninen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Manninen has control of Garner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Garner regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Garner is desperately trying to improve his position but Manninen has a good base and remains in mount.

Manninen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Garner manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Manninen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Garner, who protects the arm well.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garner is looking for a sweep.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Manninen tries for a kimura but Garner is defending well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Manninen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Manninen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Garner can't fight it off and eventually Manninen manages to take the fight to the floor. Garner looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Garner is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Manninen pushes down on Garner's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Horrible takedown attempt by Garner or perhaps it was just good defense by Manninen, which made it look bad.
Manninen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Garner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Manninen has Garner pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Manninen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Garner tumbling to the mat - Manninen dives into Garner's guard.
