The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Equinox takes one to the side of the head.
Sobral throws an off balance right hand
and Equinox cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sobral misses with a jab, cross combination.
Equinox is looking to clinch.
Equinox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sobral swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sobral tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Equinox was well out of range. Poor timing from Sobral.

Sobral shoots in for a takedown but Equinox shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
As Sobral tries to get set, Equinox tries to push him back and clinch up but Sobral manages to avoid the attempt.
Sobral bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sobral is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
