Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank James!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Bourque swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James wants to clinch.
Bourque keeps the fight on the outside.
Frank James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James is looking to clinch but Bourque is avoiding it.

Bourque throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
Bourque circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bourque really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
James takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Frank James has been cut.
Bourque lands a body shot.
James fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bourque throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
Bourque scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. James doesn't seem bothered though.

James tries to clinch but Bourque is having none of it.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bourque paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A jab-cross combination lands for Bourque and sends James crashing to the mat! Bourque follows him down to the mat - James regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Bourque circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bourque cracks James with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bourque connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt James! He's out on his feet! Bourque rushes in and drops James with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
