Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabiano DeSilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabiano DeSilva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
DeSilva misses with a series of wild punches.

Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
DeSilva pulls Silva in close to prevent any damage.
Silva stops DeSilva from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeSilva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

DeSilva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Fabiano DeSilva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alderson Silva.
A right-left combo lands from DeSilva.

It looks like Alderson Silva has been cut.
Fabiano DeSilva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but DeSilva circles away.
Fabiano DeSilva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
DeSilva connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva looks gassed!
DeSilva throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but DeSilva circles away.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
DeSilva drops Silva with a right and a left! DeSilva comes rushing in but Silva regains his composure and manages to keep DeSilva in guard.

Silva is rocked!
DeSilva controls from within his opponent's guard.

Silva is working an open guard so DeSilva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

DeSilva drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - DeSilva is looking for the KO!

That has opened up Alderson Silva's cut even more.
DeSilva misses with a body kick.
DeSilva misses with a few strikes there.
A jab-cross combination lands for DeSilva and sends Silva crashing to the mat! DeSilva follows him down to the mat - Silva regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The cut above Alderson Silva's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
DeSilva with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DeSilva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

DeSilva decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
DeSilva throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
DeSilva scores with a jab to the head.

Alderson Silva's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
DeSilva throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
A left and a right from DeSilva both land. Nice combination.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alderson Silva's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
