Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donkey Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Sanus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong comes into the arena with Awesome Donkey Kong blaring out of the sound system. Sanus has chosen I Have a Dream as his entrance music. Donkey Kong has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lou Sanus!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong connects with a body shot that sends Sanus's belly button to the back.
Sanus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sanus looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sanus has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kong blocks the body kick.
Kong half committed to a counter leg kick.
Kong cracks Sanus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Lou Sanus has been cut.
Kong sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sanus throws a hook to the side of Kong's head but Kong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanus manages to avoid it.
Kong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sanus lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kong throws out a loose jab but Sanus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kong connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanus. Kong does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kong throws a jab when Sanus was well out of range.
Kong throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kong misses with a body kick.
Kong moves into range and connects with a jab.
Sanus lands a nice shot to the body.
Sanus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kong paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kong throws a solid leg kick but Sanus takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kong.
Kong looks to land a body kick but Sanus moved away.
Sanus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kong is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Nice uppercut lands for Kong. That snapped Sanus's head back.

That has opened up Lou Sanus's cut even more.
Sanus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Kong tries to keep at a distance but Sanus has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sanus throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kongs head.

Kong breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanus lands a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kong bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sanus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kong has time to react.
Kong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sanus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kong takes a swing at Sanus's ribcage but misses.
Sanus pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A quick step to the side and Kong tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kong works the jab nicely.
Sanus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jab, jab by Kong - just one landing.

The cut above Lou Sanus's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sanus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kong moves out of range as Sanus throws a body kick.
Kong blocks a jab.
Kong throws an overhand right that lands on Sanus's shoulder, as Sanus tries to avoid the shot.
Kong just misses with a punch to the body.
No joy there for Sanus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lou Sanus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanus throws a jab but it's blocked by Kong.
Kong looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanus is just out of range.
Kong lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kong blocks a jab.
Sanus blocks a jab.
Sanus misses with a head kick.
Kong takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sanus thows a left - swing and a miss!

Sanus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sanus. That did some damage!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sanus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kong - the referee stops the clock and Sanus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kong. Sanus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sanus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kong's head backwards.
Kong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sanus.
Sanus swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kong throws a body punch but Sanus moves out of range.
Kong blocks a jab.
Kong swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kong uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sanus.
Kong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Sanus on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Lou Sanus's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sanus tries a head kick but it misses.
Kong swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nice straight punches there by Sanus. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sanus.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kong quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Kong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kong connects with a body shot that sends Sanus's belly button to the back.
Kong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanus manages to avoid it.
Sanus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kong.
Kong looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sanus.
Sanus looks to land a body kick but Kong moved away.
Sanus throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sanus missing with a left hand there. Kong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kong is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Donkey Kong was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
