The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yerface throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hardin Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hardin Jr feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yerface's calf.
Yerface fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hardin Jr manages to avoid it.
Hardin Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yerface lands a jab to Hardin Jr's midsection.
Hardin Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yerface defends well and Hardin Jr ends up having to push Yerface into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hardin Jr goes for a double leg but Yerface avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Yerface continues to drive forward.

Hardin Jr's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yerface connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hardin Jr scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ima Yerface will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hardin Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Yerface tries to sprawl out of it but Hardin Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yerface manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
