Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Death Note (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Marchewa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jan Marchewa enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Note scores with a jab.
Note bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Marchewa's head.
Note doesn't manage to clinch there - Marchewa circles away.
Note misses with a few strikes there.
A countering left hand to the body from Marchewa misses.
Note is looking to clinch but Marchewa is avoiding it.

Note moves into the clinch.

Marchewa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Marchewa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Note throws a series of punches but Marchewa moves out of range.

Marchewa wants to take the fight to the mat but Note manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Marchewa is trying to drag Note to the mat but Note just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Marchewa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Note's efforts to push away.
Note tries to circle away but Marchewa has him pinned against the cage.

Marchewa breaks the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Note. Those never looked like landing.
Marchewa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice side step and Marchewa releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Note doesn't manage to clinch there - Marchewa circles away.
Marchewa is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Note with a body shot.
Death Note is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marchewa gets tackled into the cage by Note. Note maintains the clinch.
Note has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A frustrated look appears on Note's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Marchewa jumps guard but Note turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Marchewa has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Note is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Note is trying to force a seperation but Marchewa has the dominant position.
Marchewa has Note pressed against the cage.
Marchewa tries to pull guard but Note won't allow it.
Note can't break the clinch.
Note is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Note has had enough of the clinch but Marchewa keeps him there for the moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Marchewa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Note lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marchewa circles away quickly and effectively.

Nice combo by Note! Oh, that's hurt him - Marchewa falls to the canvas and Note follows him into side control.

Death Note decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
