Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wu Xian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xian throws the left hand but Valdez avoids the punch easily.
Xian lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Xian misses with a looping left.
Nice shot lands for Valdez.
Xian moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Valdez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Xian scores with a punch to the head.
Xian throws a lazy uppercut
and Valdez counters with a stiff right hand.
Valdez lands with a good body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice defenses there by Valdez.
Xian rushes Valdez with punches - Valdez moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Valdez goes down! Xian follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
