Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Villak Martinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cyrus Kendall!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendall shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Martinson eats them both and turns towards Kendall to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Villak Martinson has been cut.
Kendall throws a right and a left that Martinson avoids nicely.
Kendall chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Martinson can pounce on him.
Martinson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Martinson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kendall. Kendall circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Martinson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at aLion's MMA in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters circling - Martinson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kendall lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martinson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martinson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Martinson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kendall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kendall scores with a one two! Martinson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kendall connects with a good right hand that stumbles Martinson. Martinson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Martinson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kendall's hands.
Martinson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kendall.
Martinson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kendall tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Martinson is able to avoid easily.
Martinson tries to clinch but Kendall moves out of range.
Martinson lands a jab to the head.
Kendall misses with an uppercut.
Martinson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kendall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kendall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kendall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Martinson's hands.
Martinson throws a right hand that Kendall ducks under and follows up with a left that Kendall also avoids with ease.
Martinson blocks a low kick nicely.
Kendall throws a left and a right that both miss
and Martinson counters with a slapping leg kick.
Martinson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kendall.
Martinson connects with a body shot that sends Kendall's belly button to the back.
Martinson throws a head kick that misses.
Martinson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kendall was well out of range. Poor timing from Martinson.
A combination from Kendall does no damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kendall throws a combination. Martinson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Villak Martinson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Martinson counters with a slapping leg kick.
We've been informed that Kendall has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kendall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Martinson misses with a wild body shot.
A nice side step and Kendall releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Martinson cracks the inside of Kendall's front leg.
Kendall tests Martinson's chin there with a solid looking shot.

A lazy left from Kendall finds it's target.
Martinson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Jeez, Villak Martinson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Kendall throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kendall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Martinson misses with a straight left.
Martinson looks to land a right hand but Kendall moved out of range.
Martinson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kendall.
A big left from Kendall misses.
As Kendall backs away, Martinson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
