The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck throws a wild body kick that Manel sees coming a mile off.
Manel tries to counter with a takedown but Beck is quick to defend against it.

Manel drops down looking for a counter takedown but Beck sprawls and moves away.
Beck scores with a hook to the body. Manel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Beck is trying to control Manel's posture but Manel avoids it.
Manel wants to control but Beck is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manel works to advance to full mount. Beck defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

It looks like Hans Beck has been cut.
We've been hearing that Manel has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
