Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Fallen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Przepiorka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Fallen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Piotr Przepiorka!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Przepiorka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fallen avoids it really well and circles away.
Przepiorka shoots in looking for a takedown but Fallen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Przepiorka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've been told by Fallen's head coaches at Cozad MMA New York that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Fallen lands a head kick. Przepiorka smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Przepiorka takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fallen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Przepiorka takes one on the button.
Fallen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fallen lands a leg kick that knocks Przepiorka off balance momentarily.

Przepiorka manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fallen on his heels. He'll look to pass Fallen's guard now, I'm sure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fallen can't keep his opponent in guard - Przepiorka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Przepiorka wants to free his trapped foot but Fallen is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Przepiorka is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fallen sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Przepiorka is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Fallen as he works his way to full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Przepiorka is looking to pass into half guard but Fallen pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Fallen is in guard.


Przepiorka has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fallen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Przepiorka.

Przepiorka manages to get back to half guard.
Fallen wants to stand up but Przepiorka is controlling the position.
Fallen prevents Przepiorka from improving his position.
Przepiorka tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like Fallen is going to stand back up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Przepiorka gets the takedown into side control.
Fallen pushes Przepiorka away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Przepiorka gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Fallen is breathing heavily.
Przepiorka tries to score with some ground and pound. Fallen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The strikes coming from Przepiorka are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Przepiorka looks up at the clock and then as Fallen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Przepiorka smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Przepiorka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Przepiorka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Piotr Przepiorka will probably get the nod.
That's time! Fallen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Przepiorka closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Przepiorka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fallen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Przepiorka is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Fallen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Piotr Przepiorka!
