The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanolla darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A swing and a miss from McCool.
McCool looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fionn McCool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCool throws a right hand that Hanolla ducks under and follows up with a left that Hanolla also avoids with ease.
It seemed like Hanolla was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hanolla lets loose with a powerful body kick. McCool will feel that in the morning.
Hanolla scores with a jab to the body.
Hanolla loads up on a big right hand but McCool slips the punch.
We've been informed that Hanolla has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hanolla turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McCool misses with a hook
and Hanolla counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
McCool is breathing heavily.
McCool throws a lazy uppercut
and Hanolla counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hanolla comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McCool misses with a left hand
and Hanolla counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hanolla lands a big right hand that sends McCool crashing to the mat! Hanolla stays standing though and waves McCool back to his feet!
McCool is rocked!
It looks like Fionn McCool has been cut.
Hanolla lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens McCool up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Hanolla from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw McCool's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jutta Hanolla!
During a confident post fight interview, Jutta Hanolla thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Fionn McCool spoke after the fight, saying 'i have lost this battle but not the war i shall return to have my vengeance '.
