Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lacy Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lacy Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Douglas Davis!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers has a takedown stuffed.
Davis scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Douglas Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Summers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis is trying to maintain the position but Summers is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Summers manages to mount him!
Summers really is a fat lump.
Davis wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Summers controls the position.
Davis just trying to survive but Summers is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Summers just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Summers is hanging on to Davis's back as he tries to escape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Davis is trying to get back to his feet but Summers has full control of the position and if anything, Davis has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Summers is riding his opponent, not letting Davis buck him off.
Summers has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Summers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Summers seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Davis for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davis is trying to break the clinch but Summers is controlling him.

Summers has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Davis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Summers has time to react.

Summers takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Summers fires out a quick counter leg kick but Davis just manages to avoid it.
Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Summers circles away.
Davis is breathing heavily.
Davis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Davis shoots in for a double leg but Summers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Summers seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Summers slips a jab and a cross from Davis.
Summers tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Davis defends well and Summers ends up having to push Davis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Douglas Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Davis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Summers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Douglas Davis seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Davis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Davis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Davis scoring well with a low kick there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Summers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Davis.
Summers throws a counter high kick but Davis was just alert enough to avoid it.

Douglas Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Davis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Douglas Davis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
