The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wilson scores with a hook to the body. Martins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wilson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Martins throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wilson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wilson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Wilson counters with an outside leg kick.
Wilson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Martins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilson was well out of range. Poor timing from Martins.
Nice body punch from Martins.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilson throws a body shot but no joy.

Wilson moves away from the strike by Martins.
Martins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wilson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Martins ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wilson is still on wobbly legs! Can Martins finish him?
Martins lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Wilson up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Martins from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Wilson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
