The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver dives in and grabs Sanders's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanders pushes down on Silver's head and hops out.

Sanders forces Silver back against the cage and clinches.
Sanders misses with an elbow over the top.
A short uppercut from Sanders.
Sanders lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Sanders lands an elbow that stopped Silver in his tracks for a moment.
Silver tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Silver's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Sanders prevents a takedown attempt there.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Sanders.

It looks like Saul Silver has been cut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sanders.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanders is struggling to control the position.
Sanders digs a right hand underneath Silver's ribcage. Silver let out a lung full of air as it connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanders lands an uppercut.
Sanders lands a left hand.

Silver is rocked!
Clinched against the cage, Sanders lands a big elbow that drops Silver! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Silver is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
