Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Simons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Ringwald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronald Ringwald will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Ringwald! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ringwald lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Simons lands a couple of decent looking shots. Simons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ringwald has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Simons has managed to get both his arms back between Ringwald's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd cheers as Ringwald lands an impressive looking overhand right. Simons doesn't seem phased though. Ringwald moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ronald Ringwald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ringwald stalks Simons and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Simons's face. Simons staggers backwards, shaken. Ringwald lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Simons looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Simons feints and as Ringwald raises his hands in defense, Simons changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Simons wants to control from the top but Ringwald keeps moving.
