Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gail Hammond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Argov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonio Argov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammond gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Argov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hammond swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hammond is on top in guard.
Argov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hammond controls the pace.

Hammond lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
I really don't envy Argov right now.

Argov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hammond takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Gail Hammond has been cut.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Argov enables Hammond to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Argov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
