The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mettenberger swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And Samson tries to counter it with a takedown but Mettenberger pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Samson throws a leg kick but Mettenberger moved away.
Samson closes the distance and clinches up with Mettenberger, looking for a takedown. Samson pushes Mettenberger against the cage but Mettenberger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mettenberger smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
