Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Szczęsny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sans Pression - Numero 1. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szczęsny with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Szczęsny throws a push kick but Palmer slaps the foot to one side.
Palmer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Szczęsny.
Palmer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Szczęsny moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Palmer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Szczęsny uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Palmer has time to react.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Szczęsny tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Palmer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Szczęsny is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Szczęsny is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Palmer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Szczęsny swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
The fighters circling - Palmer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Palmer tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Szczęsny feints and then cracks Palmer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Palmer down.

Palmer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Szczęsny on his heels. He'll look to pass Szczęsny's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Palmer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Palmer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Szczęsny for as long as he can get away with.

Palmer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Palmer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Palmer tries to free his leg and advance position but Szczęsny is retaining full guard.
Szczęsny controls Palmer momentarily but Palmer frees himself.

Palmer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Palmer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Szczęsny knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Palmer has hold of Szczęsny's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Szczęsny tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Palmer cranks the arm and Szczęsny screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Szczęsny, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). George Palmer!
Post fight, an emotional George Palmer said 'Thanks for the fight Victor you're a talented fighter. I am calling out Jimmy Gotti. Jimmy, you got me in the first match but this time I won't lose. I will revenge.'.
