Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kale Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smokey Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson has chosen Blaze all day by- KOTTONMOUTH KINGS as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Strong counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Simpson thinking.

Simpson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simpson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Strong connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Simpson scrambles back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Simpson moves out of range as Strong throws a body kick.
And Simpson tries to counter it with a takedown but Strong pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Simpson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Strong. Strong circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Strong is rocked!

Oh Strong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Simpson cracks Strong with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Strong falls to his knees and Simpson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Smokey Simpson!
As Smokey Simpson got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: You just got GINGERED'.
