Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terrell James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ligerito Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into the arena with Numb blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ligerito Jr!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jr closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. James did well to prevent Jr getting side control.

Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but James sprawls well. He's pushed Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
James swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jr connects with a nice short shot to James's temple.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jr. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

James sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Jr lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt James quite badly. James pulls Jr in close trying to recover. Jr postures up and lands two really hard shots that put James on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but James doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ligerito Jr!
In defeat, Terrell James stepped up to the mic, saying 'He is a tough fighter. But I will come back stronger and defeat him in a rematch!'.
