Lee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Douglas lands an overhand right.
Mikey Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Douglas throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.
Douglas thows a left - swing and a miss!
Douglas stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.

Douglas scores with a jab. Lee acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Douglas slaps away a takedown attempt from Lee, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Douglas counters with a stiff right hand.
Douglas jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Douglas ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Douglas slaps away a takedown attempt from Lee, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Douglas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lee momentarily.
Douglas scores with a nice head shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Douglas, which made it look bad.
Lee throws a body shot but no joy.
Douglas throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
Lee gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Douglas lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Lee is rocked!
It looks like Tyson Lee has been cut.
Douglas cracks Lee on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lee falls backwards against the cage. Douglas follows up with more strikes that drop Lee to his knees. Douglas keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lee! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikey Douglas!
