Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machida changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Machida might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Silva kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Silva. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Machida manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Machida in his guard.

Lyoto Machida showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Machida has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
