The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davies bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nogueira is trying to get back to half guard.

Davies decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Davies shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Nogueira is defending against the submission attempts here by Davies.

Davies is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Nogueira has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Davies's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Davies is breathing heavily.
Davies wants to stand but Nogueira is controlling his posture from full guard.
Davies keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nogueira's head.
Nogueira lands a decent shot there.
Nogueira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davies's guard.
Davies keeping moving, preventing Nogueira from controlling successfully.
Nogueira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davies swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Davies escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nogueira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Davies wants to sweep but no luck.

Davies looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nogueira has picked Davies up and slammed him! Davies can't keep hold of the triangle and Nogueira manages to pass to side control!

Nogueira in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Davies is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
