The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sabot sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sabot lands a body shot.
Sabot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rose.
Sabot walks into a jab.
A punch combination from Sabot misses.
Rose looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Sabot throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Lilly Rose has been cut.
Sabot ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sabot lands a nice shot to the body.
Rose looks winded!
Rose ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sabot moves away.
Sabot drops Rose with a beautiful combination! Rose stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sabot is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rose takes one to the side of the head.
That has opened up Lilly Rose's cut even more.
Sabot jabs at Rose's body.
Rose on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Sabot connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sabot darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The cut above Lilly Rose's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sabot throws a shot to the body.
Sabot swings for the body but Rose moves out of range.
Sabot feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rose sprawling to the canvas! Rose rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sabot finish him?!
Rose is rocked!
Sabot throws a body punch but Rose moves out of range.
Sabot batters Rose with a massive right followed by a huge left! Rose is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Sabot lands a final crushing right hand to drop Rose to the mat with a gruesome thud! Sabot is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jesse Sabot!
An out of breath Jesse Sabot thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
