PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crash Bandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Cesar Caprillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandicoot comes to the cage accompanied by Crash Bandicoot: Jungle Rollers Remix. Caprillo has chosen The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun as his entrance music. Caio Cesar Caprillo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Crash Bandicoot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caio Cesar Caprillo!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caprillo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bandicoot sprawls well. Bandicoot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Caprillo gets slowly back to his feet.
Bandicoot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Caprillo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Caprillo is looking for the big counter here.

Bandicoot fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Caprillo, pushing him back against the cage.
Caprillo can't get the takedown.

Bandicoot wants to control but Caprillo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Caprillo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bandicoot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Caprillo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Crash Bandicoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Caprillo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bandicoot decides to stand back up. Bandicoot steps back and let's Caprillo get back to his feet.

Bandicoot is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Caprillo is defending well for now.

Caprillo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Caprillo has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bandicoot regains guard immediately.

Bandicoot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Caprillo tries to avoid it but Bandicoot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Caprillo to the ground. Caprillo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Caio Cesar Caprillo.
