Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Vigilante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Codi Gale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vigilante might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Skyscraper. Gale has chosen Gravity kills - Guilty as his entrance music. Codi Gale acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale swings away with a body shot that misses
and Vigilante counters with a thumping low kick.
Vigilante lands a head kick. Gale smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Gale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vigilante manages to avoid it.

Gale moves into the clinch.
Vigilante blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gale misses with a punch to the body.
I was talking to Vigilante's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Vigilante lands a shoulder strike.
Vigilante lands a knee to the head.
Vigilante creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gale's defenses.

Vigilante's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vigilante moves into range and connects with a jab.

Vigilante tries to bum rush Gale with a series of wild strikes but Gale uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
