Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Noel Rose!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rose fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Green to the ground. Rose is now in Green's guard.
Green striking off his back but it's not causing Rose any problems.
Rose controlling from the top position.
Green might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Green not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rose is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Green has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rose seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rose wants to counter the offense by Green and move into the clinch position.
Green slips a jab and a cross from Rose.
Green swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Rose scores with a jab to the head.

Rose has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Green is trying to keep an underhook but Rose manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rose connects with a nice short shot to Green's temple.
Rose slows the pace down in half guard.
It looks like Rose might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rose throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Green was covering up waiting for the punch and Rose finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Green controls Rose momentarily but Rose frees himself.

Rose takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Rose lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Green hang on?

Rose tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Rose has hold of Green's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Green manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Green is desperately trying to improve his position but Rose has a good base and remains in mount.

Green bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rose has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though.
Rose seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Green has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rose is proving hard to escape from.

Rose has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Green can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Green can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rose controls the pace.
Rose must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Noel Rose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rose turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rose connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Green some visible discomfort.
Rose advances to mount.
Rose loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Green scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rose land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rose stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noel Rose!
A determined Noel Rose didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
