Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fred Russell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aubrey Parker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker tries to clinch but Russell moves away
and Russell counters with a two punch combo.
Parker misses with the combination.
Russell tries to counter by clinching up but Parker breaks away and moves out of range.
Aubrey Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Russell to the mat! Russell manages to get full guard.
Parker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Russell is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Russell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parker pulls his head out easily.
Russell is looking to control Parker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Russell avoid being mounted?

Parker seems to be looking for submissions.
Russell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Russell taking some punishment here, with Parker in his half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Parker keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Parker is trying to control the action in half guard but Russell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Parker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Parker decides to return to a standing position.
Russell really is a fat lump.

Russell gets caught napping as Parker dives in and scores a takedown. Russell manages to retain guard.
Parker controlling from the top position.
Russell is trying to control the position but Parker postures up.

Parker slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Parker stands up and waves to Russell to follow him.

Parker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Russell!

Parker decides to stand up, so the ref orders Russell to his feet.
Russell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parker but Parker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Russell tries to clinch up but Parker circles away and keeps his distance.

Parker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parker is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Parker manages to break the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Parker fails in his attempt to clinch.

Parker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Russell was covering up waiting for the punch and Parker finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Parker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Russell sprawls well initially but Parker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Russell keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Russell trying to control but Parker postures up.
Parker controlling the pace.

Parker stands up out of the half guard.

Parker scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Russell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Aubrey Parker has got the better of the ground game so far.
Parker stalling.
Parker wants to pass to mount but Russell is defending the position.
Russell on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Russell is not content to let Parker control the position.

Parker is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Russell has managed to free his arm - good work.
Russell slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Russell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Parker is stalling in the full guard.

Parker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Parker looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Parker stands up from Russell's guard - Parker perhaps looking for a knockout.
Russell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Parker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Parker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Russell napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Parker taking a break here but Russell is having none of it and regains half guard.
Parker is looking to stall here but Russell recovers full guard.
Parker trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Russell manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Aubrey Parker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Parker is looking to clinch.

Parker lands a big head kick that sends Russell tumbling to the mat! Parker takes a step backwards and waves Russell back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Fred Russell has been cut.

Parker closes the distance and pushes Russell back into the cage.
Russell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Parker has him pressed against the cage.

Parker manages to break the clinch.
Russell blocks a head kick by Parker.
Parker throws a head kick that misses.

Parker clinches with his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Russell has Parker pressed against the cage, preventing Parker from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Russell pulls guard.
Russell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Russell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parker won't allow Russell to sweep him here.
Parker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Aubrey Parker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Parker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
