The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Argov throws a combination that misses

and Simpson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Simpson lands strikes from half guard.
Simpson is trying to control the action in half guard but Argov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Simpson connects with a nice short shot to Argov's temple.

Argov is rocked!
Simpson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Argov quite badly. Argov pulls Simpson in close trying to recover. Simpson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Argov on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Argov doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
