Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Smirnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamont Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smirnov comes to the cage accompanied by Oy To Ne Vecher. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lamont Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smirnov fails with an attempt to clinch.

Smirnov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Smirnov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smirnov tries to get out of the position.

Banner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Banner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Smirnov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Banner on the ground.
Smirnov wants to get back to his feet but Banner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Banner is looking to stand up but Smirnov won't let him.

Banner drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Smirnov dives on top into guard.

Banner looking for a triangle here. Smirnov is fighting it but it looks tight! Banner pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Smirnov is tapping out - this one is all over!
