The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burrell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Peterson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Peterson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Peterson throws a series of punches but Burrell avoids them all with ease.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Peterson tries to bum rush Burrell with a series of wild strikes but Burrell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Peterson looks winded!
Burrell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Burrell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peterson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Peterson throws a series of punches but Burrell moves out of range.
Peterson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Burrell lands a jab to the nose.
Marty Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Burrell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Peterson thinking.

Burrell clobbers Peterson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Burrell connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Peterson! He's out on his feet! Burrell rushes in and drops Peterson with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
