Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charalabos Koukodimos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Kopstoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koukodimos comes to the cage accompanied by Astarte - Mutter Astarte. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Charalabos Koukodimos will probably get the nod.

Kopstoot moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kopstoot will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Koukodimos closes the distance and clinches up with Kopstoot, looking for a takedown. Koukodimos pushes Kopstoot against the cage but Kopstoot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dave Kopstoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Koukodimos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Koukodimos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Koukodimos tries to clinch but Kopstoot is having none of it.

and Koukodimos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kopstoot won't be happy with that.

Koukodimos wants to control but Kopstoot is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kopstoot can do anything to dispel that myth.
Koukodimos looks up at the clock and then as Kopstoot takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Koukodimos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Koukodimos goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kopstoot rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Koukodimos's guard! Nice work there by Kopstoot!

Charalabos Koukodimos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Kopstoot not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Koukodimos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Koukodimos's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Koukodimos, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
