Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between average joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwame Moto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). joe comes to the cage accompanied by prodigy- omen. joe has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kwame Moto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moto keeps the fight on the outside.
joe looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
joe misses with a head kick.

Moto has taken the fight to the clinch.

Moto pulls guard.
Moto wants to sweep but no luck.
Moto manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Moto gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Moto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
average joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
joe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Moto has closed the distance and engaged joe in a clinch.

Moto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. joe just stands there and leans against the cage.

Moto jumps into guard, dragging joe to the mat.
joe has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Moto is proving hard to escape from.
joe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

joe goes for a takedown attempt but Moto pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Moto counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for joe!

Moto is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Moto gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Moto gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Moto apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Moto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but joe moves away.

joe wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Moto manages to pass to side control.
Moto is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Moto is figuring out what he wants to do next.
joe won't allow Moto to pass to mount.

Moto stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Moto moves into range and clinches up with joe.

joe is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Moto dives into side control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Moto cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
joe sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Moto perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
joe is trying to stand.

Moto stands up out of the half guard.

Moto drives through with a takedown into guard.
Moto scoring with punches to the head and body.
joe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Moto wants to control from the top but joe keeps moving.

joe kicks Moto off and gets to his feet.

Moto drives through and clinches with joe against the cage.
joe using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Moto has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
joe has Moto pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Moto manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
joe has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Moto avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Well Moto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
