Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Huang Tze Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dr Gonzo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Huang Tze Long's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Gonzo.
Tze Long fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzo avoids it really well and circles away.

and Gonzo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gonzo ducks right into an uppercut from Tze Long.
Gonzo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tze Long at a distance.
Gonzo slaps away a takedown attempt from Tze Long, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tze Long has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gonzo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tze Long haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Tze Long is looking to take a break and control but Gonzo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tze Long wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzo keeps working.
What's Gonzo going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Tze Long is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gonzo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tze Long looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gonzo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gonzo wants it to stay on the feet.
Tze Long's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gonzo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tze Long scrambles back to his feet.

Gonzo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tze Long shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gonzo defends it nicely.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Gonzo.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gonzo has his hands clasped together around Tze Long's back. He's all about the action.

Tze Long shoots in but no luck this time.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Gonzo. Tze Long shrugs it off though.

Gonzo cracks Tze Long with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Gonzo lands with a big left! Tze Long is wobbled badly! Gonzo comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Tze Long to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dr Gonzo!
After winning the bout, Dr Gonzo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
