Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Niemi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyro West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pyro West acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorma Niemi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pyro West!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Niemi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to West's calf.
Niemi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
West misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Niemi scoring well with a low kick there.
West dodges the punch combination from Niemi.
Left hook, right uppercut from Niemi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

West closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Niemi to the mat! Niemi manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Niemi wants to stand and escape but West is having none of it.
Niemi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for West on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A nice inside leg kick there by Niemi. That's going to slow West down.
Niemi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but West circles away quickly and effectively.
West feints the counter takedown.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Good leg kick by Niemi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
West throws a body punch but Niemi moves out of range.

Pyro West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Niemi counters with a low kick, right behind West 's knee.

Jorma Niemi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pyro West.
Niemi pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces West back to the cage. Niemi follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Niemi lands a left and a right that send West crashing to the mat, dazed. Niemi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Are you kidding me?! Niemi ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent West clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
