The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shinawatra gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alabama to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Shinawatra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alabama. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alabama drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Alabama seems to have locked his on tight now - Shinawatra screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Alabama, as he picks up the win!

Huell Alabama opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
