The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gainer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Zayn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gainer is letting Zayn control him for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zayn wants to stand but Gainer has his arm trapped.
Zayn works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
A lull in the action here.
Gainer pushes Zayn away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Zayn gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zayn happy to just control the position for now.
