The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Todd looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Nezhmetdinov is pulling down on Todd's head. It's preventing any offense from Todd, at least for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nezhmetdinov is in close to Todd's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Todd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nezhmetdinov lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Todd! More strikes land and this one is all over! Nezhmetdinov jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
