The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Werewolf closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Burch's guard.
Werewolf with a nice head shot there.
Werewolf controls from within his opponent's guard.
Burch is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Werewolf.
Burch looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Burch keeping moving, preventing Werewolf from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Werewolf working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Burch is controlling Werewolf's posture.

Burch wants to sweep but no luck.
Werewolf trying to control the position from guard on top but Burch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Burch shoots in for a takedown but Werewolf shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A left and a right from Werewolf both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Vance Burch has been cut.

Werewolf cracks Burch with an open hand slap.

Burch is rocked!

Werewolf bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Oh Burch is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Werewolf in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Burch looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Werewolf turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
