Lebowski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Newman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Some bone on bone action there as Newman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Newman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I was talking to Lebowski's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Newman is trying to drag Lebowski to the mat but Lebowski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
