And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamahl Jones!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
Jones tries to move into range but Waman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Waman scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A jab from Waman does it's job there.
Waman lands with a shot to the body.

Jones has managed to clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Waman's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Waman is trying to break free.
Jones is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Waman is defending well for now.
Waman wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Waman walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Waman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Waman lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.

It looks like Jamahl Jones has been cut.
Waman misses with a double jab.
And Jones responds with a good body kick, but Waman manages to step out the way in time.
Waman lands a jab to the nose.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jonny Waman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamahl Jones.
Waman scores with a three punch combo!
Waman throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Waman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Waman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jones wants to clinch.

Waman lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Waman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Waman's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Jones falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonny Waman!
