The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pate tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kane manages to circle out of the way.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ross Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane darts in trying to clinch
and Pate decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kane's guard.
Pate working some strikes from top position.
Kane is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Pate has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Kane taps out instantly and this one is all over!
