Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Barca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Barca there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Barca tries to keep at a distance but Patterson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Barca lands a body punch.
Patterson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Patterson has picked Barca up - he's going for a ride! Patterson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Patterson is keen to just control but Barca is a slippery customer.

Patterson drops back looking for a leg! Barca is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barca manages to kick Patterson off! Patterson jumps back into Barca's guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Barca connects with the punch.

Patterson takes the fight into the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Still in the clinch, Barca scores with a nice short uppercut.
Barca lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Barca can't find room to land a body shot as Patterson controls the action.

Patterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Barca walks away with a smile on his face. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Barca lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Patterson or not.

That was a close round but I would say that Hannibal Barca will probably get the nod.

Patterson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barca is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Patterson, into his guard.

Patterson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barca can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Barca is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Patterson can do to turn this around?

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Patterson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barca gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Patterson has his foot on Barca's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barca works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hannibal Barca spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
